To
send and receive faxes:
- An analog telephony adapter (ATA) that
support VLAN e.g.
Linksys SPA2100 is required
- Connect fax machine to FXS port of ATA
- Connect ATA WAN port to wall socket
- Please contact
us for assistance in configuring this ATA
* With a phone line splitter, you can connect an analogue phone and a fax machine to the same FXS port of the ATA. You will be able to make/receive calls or send/receive faxes but not simultaneously.
To make/receive calls and send/receive faxes simultaneously:
- Subscibe two ie Voice accounts (one for voice and another for
fax)
- Purchase and install Linksys SPA2100 ATA
- Connect analogue phone and fax machine to ATA
- Connect ATA WAN port to wall socket
